Hi, all,

If this isn't the right place for this, please point me to it.

I have a working FC3 681 system, and thought I'd try upgrading to the
latest kernel, 741, using apt-get/rpms.

741 freezes on my machine very early in the boot process. It happens
on the line where it says something like "network storage audio
<FREEZE>"
Sorry I don't have the exact text, I'm not in front of the machine at
this time. But audio is the third and last of three subsystems on
that line, that I do know.

Just hangs there after audio. I even tried swapping out the sound
card, still just hangs there.

Rolled back to 681, no worries, but just disappointed. Seems like a
strange place to hang, and I can't find anything in any logs in
/var/log about why it might be freezing.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Larry
