I migrated from FC1 to gentoo to force a bit more performance out of my box (non-epia p4 2.4gHz) which is the main reason why ppl migrate from KDE to lighter wm's. Did my box absolutely need gentoo or was KDE bogging it down ... probably not. You know what they say, if it ain't broke, keep screwing with it until it is." -- Travis
