Run nuvexport with the --debug flag and it will print the comands it would have executed. Run these commands yourself and you will be able to see what the problem is.
Yup, or you might be interested in testing the latest version of nuvexport that I just posted -- it's my first attempt at capturing error messages and warnings from transcode (which means that it may or may not work). If it works, it's probably easier than dealing with the --debug output.
