I just setup a frontend on a P3 500Mhz w/ 192MB of
RAM. When I use MythVideo to play movie files off of
the backend, it stutters (video & audio) every 2-3
seconds for .25 seconds or so.
I'm using FC3 w/ alsa sound. Configuration was via
Jarod's excellent guide. My backend has no problems
playing any of these files. When I view LiveTV or
Recorded programs in Myth, everything is ok, just
MythVideo is stuttering.
Already tried Aggressive Audio Buffer and aRts (KDE
sound server), but didn't help. TOP says I'm only
using 50% of my CPU and I have plenty of memory left.
