The tuner=## issue also applies to some pvr-350s, even if it appears that it's being detected properly. I've got one that I purchased in november. It's recognized as type 47 using 0.2rc3a drivers, however only a couple of channels are tuned. If I force to type=38 or 39 ( I forget which one), in /etc/modprobe.conf, I am able to tune all channels....
