Update to the latest regular package of ivtv on my FC3 kernel
2.6.9-1.724_FC3 machine. It still has a problem with ivtv-fb
I did:
1 install ivtv kernel module
ivtv-kmdl-2.6.9-1.724_FC3-0.1.10-48.4_pre2_ck100zz.rhfc3.at
2. replace the msp3400.ko for the msp3400-ivtv module
All goes well and I have a machine with mythtv working except the OSD
part. I have never managed to get X on the TV out of the PVR-350 and have
no clues left what to try.
And I have tried just about any option I have read about on the
mailinglist for the past weeks. Perhaps someone is rather knowledgeable
and is willing to think along in an IRC session or so. (Then again I have
not done a thing with IRC for years.)
But I have a syslog/mail/web server and my normal PC besides this machine
so I can continue to talk during reboots. If one needs additional files to
see I can put them on a webserver so one can read it without fear of
scrolling or ...
