Good luck with that, but AFAIK it is a waste of time to try to get tv-out on an ATI card older than a 9xxx. I have tried a few, most recently with an 8500, and even with the new release from ATI the tv-out is a no-go. Maybe you will have better luck, but I recommend just going with even a cheap nvidia card. Their drivers are very easy to install, and the tv-out is easy to get working by adding a few lines to the xorg.conf. HTH, -- Joel
