Don't know about the DVB card as I don't have one...
But is your bttv module loaded with the correct card and tuner numbers? For example my bttv module stuff in /etc/modules.conf is as follows (yours will differ):
alias char-major-81-0 bttv options bttv card=6 radio=0 tuner=6
No, I haven't done this (my modprobe.conf is at http://tangram.dnsalias.net:8008/~paulway/modprobe.txt - sorry about not thinking of including this earlier). How do I know which numbers to use? I couldn't see anything obvious in the output of dmesg that said where to get these numbers from.
