I have a major problem getting CD's identified. The syslog is filled with
messages like:

I used the drive to install the system plenty of times. The CD's I testen
could be ripped very easily with grip on another system and play well on
any other system or plain CD player I try.
I can actually see the correct number of tracks and I I choose to rip it
without any of the details filled in it just starts of and will rip the
whole CD track by track without a single error whatsoever. Even verified
that the tracks sound OK.
Is there a specific incompatility issue with this drive:
