However, there doesn't seem to be a package called simply 'gnome' :
$ yum install gnome

atrpms 100% |=========================| 951 B 00:00

No Match for argument gnome
Nothing to do
so I did a :
$ yum install gnome\*
which seems to be occupying it nicely - 223 packages :|
I would love to know how to get access to the groups of packages that anaconda lists though...

"apt-get install gnome"
That should get you up and running with Gnome.

Hi,
I am trying to build a MythTV system....but I made an error when I installed the OS, and I'd rather not start from scratch again.
The error I made was not to install the windowing system(s) (gnome, etc).
I assume that I do need them. How best to install them again?
I tried to 'upgrade' from the FC3 install disk, but it didn't allow me to select anything to install.
