That's what I thought, but if that were the case, the local frontend 
would not have seen any of the videos.  It saw them all, but removed 
all indications of movie posters and IMDB information.  If I follow 
the population procedure on the local frontend, then do a rescan of 
the video directory with the remote frontend, I get the exact same 
result.  Everything get's removed, yet all videos can be seen.
