That might be your problem right there. Optimizing for athlons can
generate code that performs MUCH worse than the pentium pro
optimizations Myth uses by default. If you've compiled your whole
system that was then lord only knows how bad things are.
The funny thing is that I left the Myth optimizations alone. The
system in general seems pretty peppy (compiles, etc), while it's
Myth that's acting sluggish.
