So why not solve the real issues with your setup instead of trying to 
make Myth do something it's not designed to do?  What you're asking is 
kind of like asking the Mozilla developers to help you figure out how 
to get Firefox to use an external program to render web pages.  It goes 
agains the core design of the product.

Seriously, if you *really* want to use a different program to do your 
recording, then you should stick with Freevo; I believe it's better 
suited for that.
