Hey,

The other mini-project to get done - getting digital sound from my Pundit-R
system. I'm aware of the potential problems getting this up and running (esp
IEC958 mixer settings) so thought I'd check first to see if any users have
this set up successfully (i.e. myth/mythmusic/mythdvd/44khz/48khz) and would
be kind enough to share their configs or point me in the right direction.
I've probed around in /proc/asound, and have the following from aplay -l:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] asound]# aplay -l
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: IXP [ATI IXP], device 0: ATI IXP AC97 [ATI IXP AC97]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: IXP [ATI IXP], device 1: ATI IXP IEC958 [ATI IXP IEC958 (AC97)]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

I've seen the 'ultimate' nForce asound.rc file on the list archive which is
spectacularly comprehensive, does a similar one exist for the ATIIXP ALSA
driver? I guess it could be modified to fit ...

Fingers crossed ;-)
Thanks,

Nick
