I current Myth setup is based on Jarod's FC1 guide(2.4.x kernel and ivtv-0.1.9 installed via RPM). I have one older PVR-250 that worked great. I recently got a new PVR-250MCE and want to use that in addition to the older card. I understand that the ivtv-0.1.9 can't determine the new MCE card type, therefore I need either the ivtv.0.1.10pre2 or the 0.1.9-cardtype.patch.
I am not sure how to get there from here. I assume I cant load the patch directly, as I don't have the source (again becuause I got ivtv via RPM). Should I remove the ivtv RPM package and build the 0.1.9 from source, or use the 0.1.10pre2? Thanks, Aaron
