I was wondering when someone would point this out... I remember that
some years ago, my college establishment had ~27" TVs with VGA ports.
That was almost seven years ago...

Granted, these sets were more in the professional line meant for video
editing but I always wondered why manufacturers never included this in
their consumers lines...
