Ronald,

You're trying to run the audio out of TV Out of the
350 into your LINE IN of your sound card. Can you
hear any sound coming straight out of your PVR 350
into your TV?

ivtv set my audio matrix to 3, but I can still get
audio out. It might be your mixer. Before I hooked
up my TV, I ran kMix on my monitor and set all my
settings. The default for KDE is not to activate the
line-in of the sound card and set the volume to 0.

If you can see enough of your screen from the TV, kill
mythfrontend, use a mouse and go to Sound and Video
-->kMix.
