Apart from the trivial bug everything works great for me so I'll wait until the atrpms appear and do the upgrade. I have a hard time touching things that work for fear of breaking it... ;-)
I haven't had any problems with nfs and xboxes and can play files from the share and have even tried ripping a dvd on the xbox frontend to a mounted nfs share..slow, but worked. . In mythtv>setup you can set the path to the local mountpoint for music, video and ripping, but I think the earlier post was right in that mythtv streams the program directly instead of using the mount. anders On Wed, 09 Feb 2005 18:20:23 -0500, Tony Lill <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > If you look in > http://cvs.mythtv.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/mythtv/programs/mythbackend/, > the changes that were made to playbacksock.cpp and mainserver.cpp on > September 13 will fix the problem.
