I'd like a video card which is capable of producing an interlaced PAL-50 RGB
output from the VGA connector using standard Linux drivers. I realise that
this means building a sync convertor but I have the details for that already.

However, in addition I'd like to be able to produce a reasonable quality PAL
composite video output as well, in case I want to record output onto video
tape. I'd probably also use it to get the system up and running initially
before I build the sync convertor.

It sounds like an nVidia chipset based card is probably the way to go, but
can anyone provide a more specific recommendation for a UK spec card?
