alright... this is all good info. I do want to purchase something within the next month. I currently have a standard 4x3 NTSC TV, but I want to get the cards before they aren't for sale anymore. Is it possible to still use the 4x3 NTSC TV to view the HDTV captured video? Also, anyone try to use remote xbox front ends to play shows captured by the pcHDTV- HD-3000 or the air2pc?
I still don't see a clear winner between the HD-3000 and the air2pc... does anyone else? It looks like the few who replied actually owned both and had their gripes about each of them, but never said "I like this one MUCH better because ______..." Thanks for the great info so far. Any problems running either of these two cards in conjunction with my 2 pvr-250s? BTW, just so we're clear, I want to capture the HDTV signals over the air. I live in the heart of Chicago, so there are several HDTV stations being broadcast easily within my reach. I may, however, be interested within the next 3 years to get digital cable... but that's not a priority for me in this purchasing decision right now. Thanks again!
