Don't know if it's safe but I'm running the current CVS on my frontend while my backend is a CVS checkout of around the 2xth of January (just prior to the inclusion of the new DVB code.) And it's working. :) Except that the schedule job has changed so if I (re)schedule something I either have to restart the backend (doh) or use mythweb (from a CVS around the 2x of Jan also) to update the schedule. Tho, I red something in the mythcommit ysterday that a new command switch to myth(backend of frontend, can't remember) that will call the reschdule function. Some other may be broken tho. So, I don't recommend it but if you like to hack your way thru... cythraul
