It takes bloody forever to get to recorded programs, though CPU usage is negligible, there's plenty of RAM, and everything else accesses just fine.
I'm using the current CVS (2/10/05) and most everything else seems to be ok.
Nothing untoward makes its way into the apache logs.
I've had the same problem. For me at least, it's when it fails to generate a thumbnail. It seems to try for about 10-20 seconds, then I just don't get a thumbnail for that show. It also seems to cause problems for the backend. Are you getting log messages for mythbackend?
