I'm convinced it's a combination of the new card and the "current"
ivtv drivers/kernel required to support it. More specifically, I think
(not being qualified to safe for sure, but) it's the X ivtvdev driver
/ ivtv-fb module. The recording and payback of shows is nearly rock
solid, but when any OSD or X related activity takes place, it locks up
under some certain circumstance.

I just don't want to upgrade my motherboard/cpu/mem if it is in fact
an existing hardware (pvr-350) or software (ivtv?) problem.
