This can be true, but my own experience showed the pchdtv-3000 to be doing not nearly as well as it could. In the sense that there were several channels which the card would report an unusably low signal on, which if I plugged the antenna into the ATSC tuner on the HDTV, it showed the channel, clear as a bell. So there can be a big diff. I do not know if the air2pc would do better or worse, and I don't think it's my card as others have reported the same thing.
