I'm generally quite happy with the features that are getting added to myth, it's just when something like video playback is broken it kind've enrages the wife. Any help would be greatly apprecaited to get this thing fixed.
I'm running Fedora Core 2, all of the other versions are from Jared's Fedora Core 2 guide. Also, replying to [EMAIL PROTECTED] would help my process a little, things tend to get lost in the mailing list archive.
Thank you!
Josh

Subject: Re: [mythtv-users] RE: Upgraded to .17 and now video playback ischoppy
My playback seemed to be quite choppy as well. I have been following and updating CVS on a regular basis, so I don't know why it happened after the .17 release. But what seemed to fix it for me was to set suid on /usr/bin/mythfrontend and /usr/bin/mythtv again, since installing the new version will overwrite them. And make sure in your setup you have the realtime threads option turned on.

I am on version ivtv-0.2.0-64_rc3f.rhfc2.at
But why when I do the dmesg does it show 0.1.10pre2-ck108k?
Here is my dmesg output
Any help would be great, the wife is one un-happy camper …
Thanks!
