I've been troubleshooting zap2it and air2pc combination for 3 days now and still no luck when selecting WatchTV, just black blank screen. Program guide however is awesome, here is my screenshot of program guide - http://restricted.dyndns.org/programguide.jpg
I have here a weblink to a textfile which shows when DVB_EIT has been compiled(enabled in settings.pro) and Scan for channels feature in Channel Editor was executed.
On another setup(same machine), this same text file also contains different information which was taken from the zap2it site after the Retrieve Lineups button have been clicked in Button 3 - Video sources.

Anyways, here are the steps I made.
1. drop database mythconverg and started a clean database using mc.sql
2. ran setup and went to Button 1 - Generals and modified the ip address
3. I clicked Button 2 - Capture Cards and selected Digital Video Broadcast card for the Card type.
4. I clicked Button 3 - Video Source and created OTAHDTV on the Video Source Name. I supplied my zap2it username/password and I clicked on Retrieve Lineups. This is what I got after clicking Retrieve Lineup, http://www.restricted.dyndns.org/transport2.jpg
The Data Direct Lineup field got populated.
5. I went to Button 4 - Input connection, and I selected the name I created in Video Source. In my case, it was named OTAHDTV. Here is the screenshot, http://www.restricted.dyndns.org/transport4.jpg
6. Since I wanted to use zap2it, I told myself that I really don't need to execute Scan for Channels in Button 5 - Channel Editor. So I did NOT click Scan for Channels
7. I closed setup and ran mythfilldatabase
8. After running mythfilldatabase, I ran setup again. I saw Channel Editor got populated. http://www.restricted.dyndns.org/channeleditor.jpg
9. I closed setup and started mythfilldatabase. After it was done, I ran setup again. I went directly to button 5. I found out that it automatically populated that screen. I even looked inside each channels and saw a value in xmltvid. Look at this, http://www.restricted.dyndns.org/channeleditor.jpg
I closed setup and started mythbackend. I saw mythbackend was failing to tune to the channel I specified. In this case, it was 112.

You question me, why did you choose 112. It's because, before when I was not using zap2it, using 112 as the starting channel works. It's actually channel WTTW-DT 2.
10. I ran mythfrontend and went to Program Guide, and saw this, http://restricted.dyndns.org/programguide.jpg
It was awesome!
11. But I clicked WatchTV, and nothing is happening. It's just blank screen. Not even the harddisk LED, it's not busy too. I ALT-TAB on my Fedora and on the console I saw,
"no data from card in 1 second"
Actually, I followed this site, http://www.digitalregime.com/mythdvb/setup/
But I didn't follow step 4A and onwards since I will be using the information that zap2it will be giving me.
Again, if I will not be using zap2it, watching movie works but program guide sucks. There are only few channels that have INFO GUIDE.
So do you know where I've messed up? Can you please send me the proper way of using air2pc with zap2it?

What does one have to do with the other? I am using HDTV OTA with two Air2PC cards. My guide data from zap2it is just fine. I did have to manually add the xmltvid for each channel to the channel table though.
