Have you tried swapping the aerial wires connectors on your two cards?
I have similar problems until I upgraded to a better quality splitter and cables (all in all over AUD $50 from bunnings warehouse!! gah!).
If you're using a cheapie splitter, a better one would improve the quality (at least it does improve mine, the cheapies tend to fall abart after a few months of abuse). For my case it's my wires as I am using those $1 cables, but my splitter has acutally came loose internally and I replaced that as well..
