Hello, I'm trying to setup MythTV for the first time, and so far I'm quite impressed with it. I have the EPG guide working, even LIRC for the most part, but unfortunately I just can't get it to work with my ATI TV Wonder card.
It looks like it should be as easy as can be. The mythtv-setup programs sees the device, and allows me to select what input I want to use. However, when myth-backend is launched, I always get a message that it can't find the input in the log file. It seems to be able to open the device though. It can't open the input regardless if I tell it television, S-Video, or Composite1. I've tried checking the FAQs and mailing list, but I've probably missed something easy. Anyone have any ideas? This card has been working fine with TVtime for a long time, so I know the bttv driver works. However, I'm using an older bttv driver that comes with 2.4.29 (can't easily upgrade to 2.6 since STRIP doesn't work), and I'm running Debian, with mythtv 0.17 if that helps any. Thanks, Brian
