With my local cable company, I get all the content through the firewire
port, and all of it is viewable. Some folks have reported that the
'digital' channels (>125) are encrypted for them, but I supposed I
lucked out.  I get a nice 720x480 stream on non-HD channels.  Also,
since I've got my DCT-6200 set to output 480p for SDTV, the stream I get
comes out already deinterlaced.  I haven't bothered to do any
examiniation yet to determine if that export-time deinterlacing is
better / worse / the same as doing it at transcoding time, but it seemed
like a nice little bonus.
