If you're going to upgrade FC2 --> FC3 I'd back everything up. This must surely be a major upgrade. > apt-get the new 17 release? I'm planning to go things in this order: - full backup - upgrade mythtv from 16 --> 17 - full backup - apt-get dist-upgrade to bring FC2 up to date - full backup - CD-ROM upgrade from FC2 --> FC3 Regards, Phill
