[mythtv-users] email list vs forum

I've been having trouble keeping up with this list; the traffic is 
enormous. I would rather not receive the messages that I do not intend 
to read; they cause unnecessary internet traffic which is a pet peeve of 
mine.

Is it not more appropriate to have this communication via a web based 
forum? I am sure there are some people who prefer email lists to web fora.

What are the problems with doing this?
