The Pundit-r has been discussed recently here, if you look at the history.
This is my first post here. I want to build my multimedia box, and I'm considering mythtv. There are some things that I'd like to know:
- I plan to buy an asus pundit kit. It has an ati rs300 chipset. Does anybody has this hardware? How does tv-out work? Propietary drivers, I guess.
Yes - and the strange thing is that the newest ATI drivers do not work, you need the older ones. Then TV out works fine. Look at the rage3d forums for that. If you want, I can send you the driver I am using.
If you do not want to use the ATI commercial driver, you can always try GATOS, I think that should work for TV out as well.
