I have been unable to get ffmpeg to work properly when transcoding shows.
However, transcode works marvelously for me. The problem is that I can't get
transcode to take input from the audout and vidout streams produced by
mythtranscode. I'm sure it's just a problem of having the right settings for
transcode. I would like to do this because mythtranscode will cut out the
commercials using the cutlist (and with the cvs version of mythcommflag, the
cutlist can be autogenerated!) and then my xvid output file from transcode is a
smaller, mostly commercial free video.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to do this?

Thanks
