Hi All,

I'm just one more crazed soccer fan who is getting frustrated not
being able to watch soccer games live from the comfort of my own home,
and so I've decided to look for a solution which brought me to MythTV.

I currently run RedHat 9.0 on my desktop and I'm looking at purchasing
a TV Tuner Card (not sure which yet, but to be able to decode some
cable TV channels it appears I need a card with the BT chipset, like
the WinFast - can anyone confirm this?) and using it under Linux.

Here's the question: on Windows, some generous sole has made a piece
of software to decode the channels, however I haven't found such
software for Linux. Has anyone seen anything like this or does MythTV
by chance have some inbuilt functionality to do this?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, particularly anything to
do with which cards are best to buy (the less headaches, the better)
that work well under Linux. FWIW, I'm in Argentina.

Thanks in advance guys.

Gonzalo
