This may or may not be helpful, but I had HORRIBLE results with .2 of ivtv and went back to the one suggested in Jarod's guide. The video looked just terrible on the newer version, so I would suggest installing the older ivtv. YMMV, but it's certainly worth trying... Also if your computer can't handle max settings that could be bad also, but I'm guessing it's a decently powered box.

I still do not have good quality livetv and livetv recordings. I haved upped all the livetv settings in the recording profiles to the max. I am currently using a pvr-250 and everything looks like a vcd quality recording. I went as far as running a seperate dvd player thru the svideo input to see if it was just my tuner. The quality was just as bad. I also bought a cable signal booster and that didn't help. I am using version .2 of the ivtv driver. I know it's the pvr 250 b/c when I watch a dvd on the computer thru xine or mplayer it looks perfect. It's only when I do things thru the pvr 250. Please help b/c if I can't get it to work I'm ebaying the system. Chad __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - You care about security.
