I'll see what I get next week. I called Comcast today and requested a box that 
actually has a firewire port. The person I talked to had no clue what 
firewire or ieee 1394 was, but was thankful when I pointed her to the FCC 
docs that say they have to provide a box with firewire output if a customer 
requests it. Apparently, not many are...

It'll be interesting to see the differences in what I can get from the cable 
box's firewire port and what I can get hooking the Air2PC card I just ordered 
to the same cable feed...
