Sure, there are firewire cards, but it won't do you any good if you

I might have not explained myself. I have a firewire port already,
are there any firewire cards that have a regular coaxial cable
connection as an input?
Jorge
If you have a firewire port on your able box, and a firewire card, why
do you need a coax input? But no, there are no firwire cards that have
a coax port. Tell us exactly what you have available, give us links to
the cable box if you have one or plan on getting one, and we can tell
you what to get. Your best bet is it forget using a Laptop and just use
a regular desktop PC so you can use a Happauge PVR-250 Card, which DOES
have a coax input and you can order from newegg.com.
