No there is no sound in MythTV at all recorded shows or live tv. There
simply is no sound in myth but can play sound out of myth just fine.

I think there must be some problem with recording and the mixer. TV sound
playback is enabled, but recording isn't. So you can listen to live tv, but
not recorded tv. Make sure that recording is on for line in (or tv card)
