So,

I have the output from my Myth box hooked up to a Denon receiver that
has Dolby ProLogic II. ProLogic II should take a stereo signal and
process it into pseudo-surround, however I notice with my Myth audio
that pretty much everything comes from just the centre channel, the
main left and right speakers have a vague amount of very high
frequency audio and thats it. Nothing from the surrounds. When
watching regular cable with the audio out from my TV hooked up to TV
in on the Denon, I get more signal in the left and right speakers, and
even a little surround.

What should I expect to have "Up" in alsamixer? And why wouldn't the
ProLogic II circuitry in my receiver handle a stereo signal from the
myth box the same as the stereo signal from cable TV?

Thanks

Robin
