I have a few entries in the database in the "recorded" table which don't have a corresponding .nuv file on disk. Don't ask me why - I have no idea how that happened! I can't delete the recordings from mythtv or mythweb. The deletepending flag = 0. When I try to delete I get this in the mythbackend log:
<snip> 2005-02-20 12:43:03.211 Could not open /video/recordings/1000_20050201110000_20050201111500.nuv. 4 retries remaining. 2005-02-20 12:43:03.715 Could not open /video/recordings/1000_20050201110000_20050201111500.nuv. 3 retries remaining. 2005-02-20 12:43:04.218 Could not open /video/recordings/1000_20050201110000_20050201111500.nuv. 2 retries remaining. 2005-02-20 12:43:04.721 Could not open /video/recordings/1000_20050201110000_20050201111500.nuv. 1 retries remaining. 2005-02-20 12:43:05.224 Could not open /video/recordings/1000_20050201110000_20050201111500.nuv. 0 retries remaining. File not found: /video/recordings/1000_20050201110000_20050201111500.nuv 2005-02-20 12:43:05.736 Not enough video to make thumbnail 2005-02-20 12:43:05.743 MainServer::HandleAnnounce FileTransfer 2005-02-20 12:43:05.744 adding: elm.edwards.home as a remote file transfer 2005-02-20 12:43:05.746 Could not open /video/recordings//1000_20050201110000_20050201111500.nuv.png. 0 retries remaining. </snip> Can I just delete the records manually from the recorded table, or are there some other tables which will need corresponding records deleted as well? I don't want to screw up the integrity of the database. Regards, Phill
