Hex values have never worked but if you only had a single output device it
would just ignore them without printing an error so it looked like it was
working. However having got the 350 to work like that if you  then tried to
create a single xconf file for both the 350 & your usual  vga card then X
would start to report strange errors because it now needs a valid BUSID. 
        The change I made was to force the BUSID to be required in the
single card case and thus once its working in this mode it will continue to
work in the multi-device setup. For some reason the standard BUSID parsing
functions used by every driver I've looked through just accept decimal
busid's. However with the amount of grief this causes I am tempted to copy
the parsing routines and add support for hex busid's.
