[newbie question]
I'm following the instructions for installing from http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php#lirc
I am using FC3, with a custom kernel 2.6.10.
The command for installing the required kernel module isn't working,
# apt-get install lirc-kmdl-$KVER
probably because it cannot find the correct kernel version or corresponding kernel module. Can anyone advise whether it's fine to go ahead without intsalling that kernel module, as in whether the next step:
# apt-get install lirc
will work fine?
