BTW: If you are running Mandrak, as I am, you will need to remove all references to any previously installed nVidia drivers from your /usr/X11R6/lib/ . It will try to load these older Xv and XvMC libraries first and foil your attempts to get the new ones running properly. If you were using 6111 it will fool you because Xv will work, even with the old libraries. XvMC will just puke.
