Don't have a real answer for you except to say that I have two Air2PC cards in my system and I don't have any saa7115 messages. I wouldn't worry about it, my system is working fine without it. Here is the relevant part of my lsmod:Hi,
I've been trying to get my Air2PC card working following the advice I've seen on this list. I am confused by several references I've seen about the saa7115 module/chip .
What is that, how is it involved?
Angel's page http://www.rsmas.miami.edu/personal/angel/mythtv/air2pc-howto.html
includes this snippet from dmesg saa7115: starting probe for adapter SkyStar2 (0x10000)
I'm concerned that I don't have an saa7115 anywhere on my system and it seems to be involved with the SkyStar2.
I've been working from the 2.6.10 kernel.
skystar2 30596 44 dvb_core 94632 45 skystar2 mt352 6404 1 skystar2 stv0299 10244 1 skystar2 nxt2002 9092 1 skystar2 mt312 8196 1 skystar2 i2c_core 23040 5 skystar2,mt352,stv0299,nxt2002,mt312
Don't worry about the mt352, stv0299, or mt312. They are frontends for a different card (and not used) and are only autoloaded due to the way the dvb drivers work.
I am running 2.6.11-rc2-bk5 on this machine.
So to ask the question you didn't ask, what problem are you having? Maybe we can help.
