Actually, I don't think they will go away. After the 12 days of data
is gone the EPG will say "unknown" for those channels. At least that's
what happened to mine.

What I did is install Webmin, for all of those linux newbies and
non-experts like me . . . Webmin is your friend.

Webmin has a mysql manager (among many other management utils) that
will allow you to browse the DB and delete entries you don't want. The
channel info is listed under mythconverg > channels(i think, I'm not
at my machine), click "view data" find the channels you want to get
rid of, click the check box on the right, then click "delete selected
rows". Voila!

Make sure you removed them from zap2it or they will come back on your
next update.
