I use my MythTV box to drive a CRT projector in my theater, or I watch a frontend in my bedroom that drives a 20" computer monitor. The projector has only RGBHV inputs, and the monitor has only a VGA input. So, if I just want to surf through the channels for half an hour before bedtime, what do I do? Actually, I boot Windows and run Dscaler in that case... I've been meaning to have a look at TVtime (which uses some of the excellent Dscaler code) but just haven't gotten around to it. Maybe what we need is a surfing plug-in for MythTV? Marvin
