I'd personally like to see the ability to enter numbers in the guide (I thought this was implemented already?? but it doesn't seem to work for some of my numbers that are used to navigate like 2 and 4 and so on), but that's another issue at hand.
The problem is that some of these keys are already assigned to features like day forward/back and pg-up/down. You have to redefine them. The easiest way to do this is to use mythweb's setup screen for keypresses, and remove the numbers 1, 3, 6, and 7 from the non-digit key assignments.
Personally, I think the help text that corresponds with this option should mention this fact, or Myth should just avoid this conflict internally, but that's just IMHO.
