Maybe more frequent releases is the solution. Sure, there will always
be bugs, I mean, what software doesn't experience growing pains/bugs?
I saw you mention that you where considering a release in a month or
so, and I encourage that. I personally don't think more frequent
releases will cause problems, but will encourage more people to test
new features/etc. It may cause more mail to the list, but it may also
stop all the redundant messages asking how to fix something that's
fixed in CVS. I also don't see shame in having a list of
unfinished/known bugs in release readme's. After all, MythTV is still
a 0.xx version project! :)

I definitely agree with Isaac, this issue is silly and mute. Enough
already... I'm glad to see that the issue was fixed in a way similar
to what I had suggested when it was first being discussed, that is, a
pop up to notify the user of the error.

All us end users need to thank the developers more often and stop
bitching. Maybe they'll listen if you're not spewing nonsensical
bullshit.

Thanks Isaac & All (developers)! :)
