This is a common problem, the nvidia drivers don't seem to allow for overscan correction when outputting via DVI.
I guess, it doesn't hurt to give those guys a call. I will call them(Nvidia) and ask if they are planning on putting overscan correction on the DVI.
That's most likely because using DVI bypasses the scan-converter/scaler tvout portion of the chip. With DVI (analog or digital), it's basically the same as VGA... so it uses the modeline as-is... without screwing with it like tvout.
What you can do for Myth is setup a custom front end size. In Setup >That should fudge the GUI, alright, but...
Appearance there is a screen with GUI size and offset settings. It can
take some messing around, but basically play with X and Y offset until
you get the top left corenr right, then play with GUI size to get the
bottom right corner.
That's what I did yesterday as what guys in the irc told me and here is what I got for my testing:

apology for the program, LOL :D .....
Then turn on Use GUI size for TV playback to have it use the same settings.Doing this probably makes your nice 1920x1080 resolution into a bastardized 18XXx10XX size for video playback. Thus it's distorting the picture by forcing a rescale.
You may also have to mess with overscan and scan displacement in SetupTV Settings > Playback to get things perfect.
The quality is still nice. :)
Well, the only thing left that I need to fix is the WatchTV. I don't know if it's a sound driver or what. Everytime I changed channels, I get a prebuffering pause. I've tried .17 and cvs, it was the same. It usually happens when I change from 720x480 to 1920x1080. Some guys in #mythtv-users irc told me that it might be a myth issue. I've search the mailing list and people are having the same issues. Watching Recordings is awesome though. But if we can get the changing of channels like a breeze, that would be awesome! Oh, one more, I tried both /dev/dsp w/c is ALSA's emulation and also tried creating .asoundrc file, both had the same behaviour. Latter was problematic though. I get tons of Audio buffer overflow.
That's all I can think of now! :D
Thanks,
