And now I'm sucking video off my DCT-6200 via FireWire. This ROCKS, even
though I'm only getting like 10 channels (might be able to get analog
channels too if I muck with some settings on the DCT-6200, not sure yet). The
10 I'm getting are ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, WB, PBS (x3) and a few other local
channels carried in HD. No ESPN-HD or InHD for me, which Comcast said would
be the case, since I refused to pay the extra $12/mo for them... But what
I've got so far is well worth it.

Really quite simple to set up, actually. It'll be a little while for me to get
around to writing something up though, because there are a few packages that
need to get published first. Contact me off-list if you want to test drive my
libiec61883, libraw1394 and FireWire-enabled Myth packages (though I still
need to restructure them a little to get everything in 'em proper-like).

Next up: my Air2PC card showed up today... :-D
